Another Publishing Contract

IT’S OFFICIAL. AWOC Publishing is offering contracts on the anthology I’ve been working on. Woot, woot! Doing a major happy dance at my house right now. I know the other five ladies are celebrating, also.

The book is titled: Romance-The Spice of Life. It’s all romance, but each story will be a different sub-genre. Here’s the line-up with the authors name and story title.

Shattered Promises by Linda Trout (Suspense)

Casanova Comes to Dinner by M. Carolyn Steele (Nostalgic)

Sips and Slices by Kathlyn Smith (Inspirational)

Getting it Right by Lynn Somerville (Paranormal)

Muskadine Love by Nita Beshear (Historical)

Family Feud by Gloria Teague (Contemporary)

The basic concept is it’s an anthology of love in all its delicious manifestations. You see, you not only get a great romantic story, you also get a delicious recipe. Romance and food. The perfect combination in my humble opinion. 🙂

We should have a pretty fast turn-a-round on the book, with a November release date. Nothing definite yet, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

Shattered Promises was a fun story to write. (Yes, even though it’s suspense.) Two star-crossed lovers are reunited. Drama and sparks immediately fly, quickly followed by danger. Will the hero and heroine survive the raging inferno of their lost love for each other? And how will they manage to deal with their feelings when there’s a bad guy on the loose, wreaking havoc everywhere? You’ll have to buy the book to find the answers.

And don’t forget. Mine is but one of the six stories, each pulling at your heartstrings. This will be a must read! I’ll let you know when it can be pre-ordered.

That’s all my news for now. (Aren’t you glad you stopped by? 😉 )

About Linda Trout

I'm a retired accountant who loves a little space around me. What better way to think of new story ideas than under a tall tree, birds chirping, gofers digging, dogs barking, and cats demanding to be in your lap? When I'm totally bored, I climb on my Harley and go for a ride. That'll blow the cobwebs out of your brain.
