The Morning After

So. It’s the day after Valentine’s Day. Was it everything you hoped for? Or a total let down?

Ladies, if you didn’t get that something special you had expected, then why not turn the tables on your sweetie? SHOW them what you’d like by giving it to them. Yeah, yeah. I know Valentine’s was yesterday, but what’s wrong with today?

If you know there’s no way under the sun your beloved will go for a romantic doubles massage with you (or some other girlie stuff), then do something they would enjoy instead. Step outside of your comfort zone. After all, isn’t it about spending time with the one person on the face of the earth who means the world to you?

Okay, I’ll back up and qualify that last statement. If they NEVER do anything you want and you ALWAYS give in to their wishes even when you don’t enjoy a particular activity, then it’s time to put your foot down. A relationship is a two-way street so they should want to see you happy. Maybe not a massage type of happy but there has to be something you can sweet talk them into. And isn’t there always a way to, ahem, convince them? 😉

Here’s to a fabulous day after Cupids appearance. Go out and enjoy the day (heck, the entire weekend!) with the one you love. I have to tell you that’s precisely what I intend to do. ♥♥

Have a wonderfully romantic weekend everyone!

About Linda Trout

I'm a retired accountant who loves a little space around me. What better way to think of new story ideas than under a tall tree, birds chirping, gofers digging, dogs barking, and cats demanding to be in your lap? When I'm totally bored, I climb on my Harley and go for a ride. That'll blow the cobwebs out of your brain.
